In January 2015 Intel set a lofty goal to reach full representation of women and underrepresented minorities in the company’s U.S. workforce by 2020 as well as to progress the state of D&I across the technology industry as a whole. Fast forward to Oct. 2018 when Intel announced that the company reached its goal of full representation in its U.S. workforce- two years ahead of schedule. The company’s workforce now reflects the percent of women and underrepresented minorities available in the U.S. skilled labor market.
