A lifelong learner, she received her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach certification (ACPEC) from the College of Executive Coaching. Also, she recently earned a graduate certificate in Learning Design and Technology from Harvard. She obtained an MBA in organizational behavior from the University of Hartford and a BA in English from Fairfield University.

She lives in Deep River, CT with her husband Pete (a 5th-grade teacher) and their cat Milo. She has an emptying nest: their two sons Jason and Kyle are making their way. Jason is an insurance professional in Colorado and Kyle is a college sophomore in New Hampshire.
