Cindy joined Bancroft Construction Company in February 2015 as the Vice President of Organizational Development and proudly serves as the first female member of the Senior Leadership Team since the company was founded in 1975. In this newly created leadership position at Bancroft, Cindy is responsible for human resources, technical and professional development training, external affairs, strategic planning, and a multitude of initiatives designed to effectively steward employee and company resources to achieve the strategic, tactical, and operating requirements of the organization. Cindy previously worked at the University of Delaware as the Assistant Vice President/Director of Alumni Relations. She was responsible for developing and launching innovative alumni and student programming, including the University’s premier event, Alumni Weekend. Cindy was the administrative leader of the UD Alumni Association and was appointed to multiple committees to enhance operational effectiveness at the University. After earning her undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Delaware, Cindy worked for MBNA (now Bank of America) in a variety of executive management positions from 1985 to 2006, including managing "People Satisfaction" and key administrative, training, and operational initiatives for the bank's U.S. card business operations. In 2006, she was one of four founders of a custom personal services and event planning firm, GB...At Your Service!, and held the position of Executive Director. During her career in the public and private sectors, Cindy has managed and facilitated a vast array of technical and professional development curriculums, seminars, and presentations. She was a faculty member of the CASE Summer Institute, presenting Strategic Planning; Personal Brand Management, Ethics, Principles, and Emotional Intelligence; Event Management; Culture of Alumni Engagement; and Building Successful Partnerships, where she received the Stellar Speaker Award. Cindy earned a Master of Science Degree in Management – Organizational Leadership (Summa Cum Laude) from Wilmington University. Currently, she is the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Wilmington, founding member of the Holistic Health Center of Delaware, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Cindy previously served on a multitude of boards and community committees, such as the Greater Newark Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, Delaware Dance Company, and the University of Delaware Museums Visiting Committee and is a past member of the Council for Alumni Association Executives. She also served on the Founder's Committee for the Little Sisters of the Poor and as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, where she co-chaired the annual Hodgson Vo-Tech Relay for Life fundraising event for several years.
