Colleen brings over 15 years of experience to her role as Chief People Office of Zynga, where she is responsible for recruiting, retaining and managing talent and for fostering a culture of creativity. An early Zynga employee, she took the company from 130 to 3000 people in just three years – the fastest growing technology company in the Silicon Valley. Colleen built a deep culture rooted in core values including: Be CEO own outcomes, meritocracy level-up, innovate and build games you and your friends love to play.
Prior to Zynga, Colleen spent five years at Electronic Arts and seven years at Microsoft. During her long tenures at both companies, she held executive roles responsible for recruiting, university relations, diversity and technology.
Colleen earned a bachelors’ degree in mass communication and public relations at Boston University and an Master of Arts in higher education administration at Columbia University.
She was named to the National 4-H Council Board of Trustees, was a featured speaker at Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference, received the Boston University College of Communication Distinguished Alumni Award and was an invited guest at the 2012 Fortune The Most Powerful Women conference, all in 2012. Colleen resides on the San Francisco Peninsula with her husband and son.
Her favorite Zynga game is FarmVille 2, as it reminds her of the time she spent as a member of 4-H growing up.
