Debra Kestenbaum has built her career around helping both organizations and individuals maximize their potential and achieve amazing results. In her current role as Chief People Officer at Hodes, Debra has both internal- and external-facing responsibilities. Internally she is responsible for ensuring that Hodes employees have the tools, information and skills they need to be successful. Externally Debra is focused on developing an employee engagement practice for Hodes which will build on Hodes’ capability in helping brands connect.
Prior to her current role, Debra was a client of Hodes’ as VP, Global Talent Management at Chubb Insurance. She was responsible for all talent processes across the enterprise including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
Before Chubb, Debra held a variety of HR generalist and talent specialist roles at Campbell Soup, Kraft Foods and Nabisco. She began her career at the US Postal Service as a management intern and then working full-time in the management development group.
Debra has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with a concentration in organizational behavior from Boston University.
