Ranjan is a Partner and the leader of People Analytics practice in North America. He has over 18 years of experience in management consulting, people analytics, predictive modeling, and behavioral economics.
Ranjan has provided advisory services to senior executives all over the world spanning multiple industry sectors and functional domains. His core expertise is in conceptualizing new-to-the-world analytic models and developing complementary data products and services. His client engagements include people analytics strategy development, predictive attrition risk modeling, predictive quality of hire and leadership potential, HR dashboard design and technology implementation, employee survey business linkage modeling, HR function assessment, and strategic workforce planning.
Ranjan is a thought leader in the area of people analytics and has been variously interviewed/ quoted by prominent media outlets like CFO.com, HR Magazine, HBR Analytic Services, HR Executive, CNN/Money, WSJ, Bloomberg BNA.
Prior to joining Aon, Ranjan was a practice leader in PwC’s People Analytics/Saratoga practice where he led the area of Predictive Analytics nationally as well as broader people analytics client service operations across 10 geographic markets. Before PwC, he worked at Corporate Executive Board (CEB), where he headed the Analytics and Benchmarking group within their Technology Practice. In the past, Ranjan has served as a faculty at McCombs School of Business, University of Texas, Austin and has several peer-reviewed publications under his name.
Ranjan holds a Ph.D. in Economics/Management Science & Information Systems from University of Texas, Austin, an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
