
Victoria Hughes leads talent management, organizational effectiveness and culture at Delta Dental of California. One of her key focus areas is to help Delta Dental define and align a new culture that supports organizational transformation – taking Delta Dental from Good to Great. Victoria launched the first employee engagement strategy which, in less than one year, has shown a significant increase in engagement and more aligned culture as measured through Waggl and Denison pulses. Prior to joining Delta Dental, Victoria led people strategies at Kaiser Permanente and was instrumental in leading the development and deployment of a culture strategy leveraging the Waggl, Denison, and Competing Values Framework. She was recognized for her leadership to rapidly and successfully integrate two cultures during a high-profile acquisition. Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from University of San Francisco, is a Six Sigma Black Belt, certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor, and Hogan Certified Coach. She lives in San Francisco and enjoys snow skiing, travel, trying new foods and dabbling in winemaking at her family vineyard.
